I was born and raised in the town of Calistoga, CA. To this day I live in the house I was born in nearly fifty years ago.

From a very early age I was taught to always love and respect nature. I can remember my first camera and the joy I got from capturing images on film.

I studied photography in high school and college. I took many rolls of concert pictures and prided myself on the perfect sunsets and seascapes. I also embarked on a long term study of black and white that helped me to see real structure and form in my images.

After being away from the camera for many years I have rediscovered the excitement again through the digital medium.

Everyday is a new beginning and another picture in my mind’s eye that I hope to capture with the lens.
